This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was large, not only by Hong Kong standards, but also by international standards. There was a sitting area with a chair and a table, as well as a seating area in front of the large window. There was also a large desk, as well as end tables on either side of the huge, comfortable bed. In the entrance hall was a large wardrobe (with a safe), plus a mini refrigerator and shelves above it. Next to this was a large space for a suitcase, with drawers beneath it (and more drawers inside the wardrobe). The shower room was also large, with plenty of space for toiletries, and the towels provided were thick and soft. The large-screen TV had many international channels. All of the staff members I had contact with were very polite and helpful. Check in (and out) was easy. Maid service was excellent. The pool was huge and clean. I did not use the restaurant and bar, so cannot comment on those. The hotel is connected (above the lobby, up a couple of escalators) to the neighbouring shopping centres, so you can easily find restaurants and supermarkets of all types. Nearby is a nice park and the excellent Hong Kong Heritage Museum, which is free and has a beautiful art gallery. The Sha Tin MTR station (East Rail) is connected to the New Town Plaza next door, and there are many bus lines serving the area, including the A41 airport bus, which stops in front of the hotel (for both directions). This was very convenient for not only the airport, but also the bridge to Macau and Zhuhai, which has a passenger immigration port near the airport and is also served by the same airport bus. The East Rail line now goes all the way into Central (Admiralty Station) in about 20 minutes, so the hotel's location in the New Territories is not an inconvenience. Instead, you get far better value for money by staying at the Royal Park Hotel than you would if you stayed in Central or Kowloon and I would happily stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was in a convenient location for us as it allowed us to travel to other parts of Hong Kong to visit friends and relatives by the MTR train or bus. Also the train and bus stations were only 2-3 minute walk away and within easy reach. The hotel is connected to a very large shopping plaza which is handy and provided everything we needed e.g. many restaurants, food, snacks, clothes, gifts, toiletries etc. and there are signs around the shopping plaza that tell you the directions back to the hotel, as it's easy to get lost due to the size of the shopping plaza. The room was clean and large and had more than enough space for the 3 of us, and the small sofa is a bonus as is the free wi-fi internet available in all rooms. The shower room is large but did not have a bathtub. Staff were friendly and helpful, and provided everything we needed. Breakfast is available as an option, but we did not decide to have it during our stay, as there are much cheaper alternatives outside close to hotel and in the shopping plaza.

We enjoyed our stay at the royal park hotel in sha tin during our 2 week vacation in hong kong. The airport bus took us right to the front of the hotel, and the front desk allowed us to check in 2 hours early so our little ones can rest after a long travel day. The facilities were recently updated and everything was exactly like it was in the hotel pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of the new town plaza being just across the foot Bridge, which allowed access to a multitude of different dining options. Super convenient! Overall, great experience. Would definitely come back again!

It’s such a convenient spot that only take minutes to get train and bus for everywhere to go in Hong Kong. Cleanliness is stellar and I am so impressed the staff upkeep the place and my room so well daily. Huge and updated bathroom. Love the gym and swimming pool is good size that they are upscale and so pleasant to use. I swam that morning with my kids in a 8 degree Celsius temperature and the water is so warm and make it an enjoyable experience. Restaurants and shops all around; can walk or jog right into Shatin park and Shing mun riverside for a leisure day. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel was amazing, even the cleaning lady called 吓洪. she looked after my room and she is always smiling and lovely to talk to and works fast , everything small things count and she made my day brighter. Also all staffs was nice too and smiling, never seen a hotel where all staffs are exceptional and willing to do the next step to help when ever needed. Hotel was nice and clean and very welcoming. It's easy access to the shopping centre and to the main train station. Would love to stay again when I next visit. Kind regards Shirley Wong
